Patent and VAT Registration
Every new company owner needs to apply for a patent and Value-Added Tax (VAT) registration at the General Department of Taxation (GDT). Registration is required no later than two weeks after the company certificate has been issued by the Ministry of Commerce (MOC). Any late registration will be fined.
