2019 Work Permit Renewal Deadline Extended

The Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training has announced that some foreign nationals working in Cambodia have yet to renew their work permits for 2019. In order to help these foreign nationals avoid the late renewal penalty (over $900), the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training has extended the deadline for work permit renewal. 

The deadline for work permit renewal has been extended to April 30, 2019. If this deadline is missed then your work permit renewal will be subject to penalty. For more information regarding work permits,  contact our team. 

Important note: The penalty of 40,000 riel ($10 USD) per day accrues from January 1st!
