Updates on Entry Requirements for Foreign Passengers to Cambodia with persistent measures and endeavors to combat COVID 19, in early August the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Cambodia released a new announcement on revision of entry requirements for foreign passenger to Cambodia to facilitate foreign passengers who plan to visit Cambodia and when arriving Cambodia

I. Entry requirements for foreign passengers who are investors-business people, experts, specialists skilled workers, company staffs, and family members, who is sponsored and invite.
​    1.  Before traveling to Cambodia:

• Possess a Validation on Payment Guarantee issued and approved by the Royal Government of Cambodia
• Possess a medical certificate issued no more than 72 hours by health authorities, recognized and certified by the Government of his/her country indicating his/her negative  test for COVID-19,  prior to the date of arrival

To obtain such certificate, you may go to the following links:

• Possess a valid visa approved and provided by the Royal Embassies of Cambodia or Consulates at the passenger’s home country (read for details)
• Possess letters or proof confirming (online booking) hotel reservation which must be made at least 3 days prior to the departure date (read for details)

   2.  Upon arrival at the international airports of Cambodia:

• All must foreigner passengers must present all the aforementioned documents to the police authorities/health officials
• All passengers will be escorted to designated COVID-19 center for testing, and they will be accommodated and wait up to 24 hours to receive result.

II. Entry requirements for regular passengers, business-linked investors, company staffs, experts, skilled workers, family members, who is not sponsored but invited:

1. Before traveling to Cambodia:

• Possess a medical certificate issued no more than 72 hours by health authorities, recognized and certified by the Government of his/her country indicating his/her negative  test for COVID-19, prior to the date of arrival
• Possess a Validation on Payment Guarantee issued and approved by the Royal Government of Cambodia

• Possess a proof of Health  Insurance for COVID-19 treatment package purchased by passenger with a cost of 90 USD and is valid for 20 days
• Possess letters or proof confirming (online booking) hotel reservation  which must be made at least 3 days prior to the departure date (read for details).

   2.  Upon arrival at the international airports of Cambodia:

• All must foreigner passengers must present all the aforementioned documents to the police authorities/health officials
• Deposits 2,000 USD upon arrival at the international airport, which will be used to cover hotel accommodation costs while waiting for COVID-19 test result and other costs during quarantine period in the case that any fellow passengers tested positive for COVID-19 (read for details)
• All passengers will be escorted to designated COVID-19 center for testing, and they will be accommodated and wait up to 24 hours to receive result.

III. Entry requirements for regular passengers, business-linked investors, company staffs, experts, skilled workers, family members, who is neither sponsored nor invited:

• Possess a medical certificate issued no more than 72 hours by health authorities, recognized and certified by the Government of his/her country indicating his/her negative  test for COVID-19, prior to the date of arrival
• Possess a valid visa approved and provided by the Royal Embassies of Cambodia or Consulates at the passenger’s home country (read for details)
• Purchase health insurance package for COVID-19 treatment, with a cost of 90 USD and is valid for 20 days
• Deposits 2,000 USD upon arrival at the international airport, which will be used to cover hotel accommodation costs while waiting for COVID-19 test result and other costs during quarantine period in the case that any fellow passengers tested positive for COVID-19 (read for details)
• Comply with the Announcement N0 564 issued on June 11th 2020 by the Ministry of Health on the service fee for COVID-19 medical test, quarantine,  and treatment in public hospital, which is still in effect
• Upon arrival, all passengers will be escorted to designated COVID-19 center for testing, and they will be accommodated and wait up to 24 hours to receive result.
