Course title: Cambodian for Beginners-part I
Course fee: Only $60/person (full payment before the course starts) or $75/person (full payment after the first session)
Course duration: 4 weeks (3 sessions per week/15 hours)
Classroom hour: Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (except public holidays); 5.00 p.m. – 6.30 p.m. (short break in between)

Course Description:
Are you an expat or a foreign business investor who are living in Cambodia? Do you want to learn how to speak Khmer? It is obvious that you need to know how to speak the local language to communicate for your living and business. Living in Cambodia without speaking the language is somehow hard. However, once you are able to speak in Khmer, you will find your life happier in this kingdom. Khmer language may appear to be difficult to learners, yet you will think differently when you learn how to speak Khmer.

With this Khmer language course, you will be taught the basic of Khmer language. Through this Khmer language course-part I, there will be 5 lessons which you will learn. The course is based on “Cambodian for Beginners” (2nd edition) by Richard K. Gilbert, and you will be taught by an experienced teacher who will guide you from knowing nothing to speaking something. The teaching approach is Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) or Communicative Approach, which is a leading linguistic approach in learning a foreign language. Undoubtedly, this course will surely build the foundation of your listening and speaking skills.

Course Objectives:
This Khmer language course is aimed to:

Introduce students to the basic of Khmer language
Provide basic Khmer language for everyday conversation
Build the foundation of listening skills
Build the foundation of speaking skills

Expected Outcomes:
After finishing the course successfully, students will be able to:

Identify and understand the basic of Khmer language such as the alphabets and pronunciations
Speak basic Khmer language for everyday conversation
Understand basic Khmer language when speaking with the local
