Due to the demands of Khmer language students, MIE is now recruiting five (05) part-time Khmer language tutors who can teach Khmer to expats based on their preferable time and locations. Applicants who can perform the job during working hours between 8am-5pm are preferred.
Requirement:
- Age is at least 18 years old
- Native Cambodian with fluent Khmer and English in 4 macro skills
- Having experience in teaching Khmer language and culture to expats or other languages is a plus
- A bachelor in education, teaching, language and culture or translation is preferred
- Having strong interpersonal skills, cross-cultural knowledge, and passion for tutoring Khmer language and culture to foreigners across the world
- Possessing his or her own vehicle
- Good personalities, attitudes and health
- Having Microsoft office skills and digital literacy
- Teach Khmer language and/or culture to foreigners one-on-one or small group at a preferable time and location of the students
- Liaise with the Language and Cultural Specialist (MIE’s staff) for teaching schedule, syllabus and lesson plans for his/her students
- Represent the company at the tutoring sites
- The wage is between $6 to $17 USD per hour
- Teaching orientation or training
- Enjoyable teaching experience with people across the world
- Contribution to promoting Khmer language and culture
