Course Description:
This course is designed for expat students who would like to be able to make basic conversation in a short period of time. It focuses on developing students’ speaking and listening skills.

We apply communicative-based approach in our teaching. During the course, students will be taught Khmer basic, for example, Khmer alphabets, how to form and read Khmer words, phrases and sentences through transliteration; then, they will learn from easy to more challenging Khmer conversations; by doing so, we enable them to  understand and speak Khmer more quickly.

Besides in-class teaching, students will have an outdoor activity related to what they have learnt, which is an opportunity for them to have real conversations with local people; students will not only become more practical but also can understand more about Cambodian living and culture as well.
