Freelance Translators and Interpreters Needed

​We are now seeking for five (05) part-time professional and experienced translators and interpreters who can translate and interpret between Khmer and English vice versa. 

Requirement:

• Age at least 18 years old   
• At least bachelor degree in any field, medical, health, law, business, IT and technology is preferred
• Fluent Khmer and English in 4 macro skills
• At least one year experience in translation and interpretation
• Having strong interpersonal skills and high responsibility, especially for completing assigned tasks accurately and timely manner
• Good personalities, attitudes and health
• Proficiency in Microsoft office skills and digital literacy
• Experience in the following software is preferred:  CAT, QA,SDL Trados Studio, Wordfast Pro, Alchemy Catalyst and STAR Transit

Brief Job Description:

• Translate, interpret, edit, transcribe and subtitle when needed
• Liaise with the Language and Cultural Specialist (MIE’s staff) via email, phone or in person
• Represent the company at the interpretation sites

Benefits:

• The wage is between$4.5-$7 per page for translation and $45-$70 per day (8 hours) for interpretation
• Flexible working hours
